The verdict is that 7 out of 8 girls got their dresses!!! YAY!!! JVilla didn't get hers because she had a prior engagement and therefore, didn't come for the 1hr hoopla.

So we all got together and did the bm dress thing... super fun! and I still got to order the dress that was 4 sizes smaller than my street clothes size... WOO TO THE HOOTIE HOOOO!!!
anyway... enough of that.
so I think that I have chosen the place that I will have the bshower at! I checked in with my nesties (thenest.com) and they came through suggesting several different places to have our bshower and the one that I think I will go with is in River Oaks... oooh la la!!! That's uber fancy smancy talk for this beautifully posh side of town... This place will be in my budget (possibly way under) and will still have everything that I envision!
Awesome! bgonzo and I will probably be checking this place out this coming Saturday to set up the menu and pricing and all that jazz... can't wait!

Oops!!! Updates are lacking...
Soooo.. nothing new to report because we havent really done anything up to now... BUT this weekend is the big dress day!! We are offically ordering and paying for our bridesmaid dresses!!
I will take pictures and such to post next week. I think it's gonna be fun times!!! I haven't seen a few of these girls in a while so I am excited to see them.
On the bshower front, theBride sent me her bshower glist and I almost fell over. it's 4 pages long.. with about 10 ppl on each page!! Whoa, is all I can say!! LOL.. so after talking to her, I was able to dwindle it down to a more workable number! LOL... I have 2 places in mind of where we can have the shindig... I just have to verify pricing and all the logistics that go with it. I also need to start looking for the guest gifts. I am working on a cute little project for it and will definitely have fun putting it together!
Anyway.. that's the update for now.

Weekly Update!
Okay.. so for this blog, since there may be times when there is nothing to be said - I will do a Tuesday Update!
This past weekend, we didn't get together to do anything wedding related. So there isn't really anything to talk about, except that I have started to think about the Bridal Shower!
Since I am the Matron of Honor and theBride also has a Maid of Honor - she (theBride) decided that she would let us pick one big thing to do... I am by no means a 'party girl'... don't get me wrong! I like to have as much fun as the next guy, but Bachelorette parties of theBride's caliber are not my cup o tea! So I wanted to do the Bridal Shower. This kind of party is up my alley! I love planning parties and all that comes with it.
I have decided on a theme and will soon be putting my planning skills up to the test. I will not post the theme - bummer I know, (uh... theBride occasionally looks at this) so I will just post a piece of a picture to get your mind to wander...
